In my life this week…

We were on the go all week!! Phew, I’m so exhausted!

A lot of playing, partying and visiting!

In our homeschool this week…

Had a local homeschool picnic to meet new friends! Smile

We are not “officially” back to school, but we took a bee pollination class at our local 4H.

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

This week we are going to be spending some time with Uncles, Aunts, and cousins…

Going to the movies to see Monsters Vs Aliens and maybe Shrek Forever After

Last but not least we have a 4H meeting.. Working on our Educational Displays and Fair Entries.

My favorite thing this week was…

Spending so much fun time with my kids!

What’s working/not working for us…

Not having listening ears… Seem to be having a rough week of paying attention and listening. Hoping for a better week next week. Wish me luck!

Questions/thoughts I have…

What do you like to do on your down time in the summer?

Things I’m working on…

Trying to be a bit more laid back, and not so edgy and on my kids.

Books I’m reading…

Still working on my Barbara Delinsky books… I haven’t had much time for reading this week.

A photo, video, link, or quote to share…

Down time? LOL I like to read, but if we're having good weather, bringing the kids to the lake for swimming and picnicking with MY BOOK is fun too! None of those theaters here! :( Stopping in from THMJ!

We read alot of books in our downtime and swim alot here in AZ with it being so hot. Inside, I am using my current downtime to start planning for the new year, while the kids are getting some much needed play time. We travel as much as we can and this year hope to do a few family camping trips. We are wrapping up our school year and will take three weeks off in between this one and the new one that will start in August/September. Once it starts, there will be no downtime so I am enjoying what little we are getting right now :-) Happy 4th of July! stopping by from HMJ.
