We have used Critical Thinking a few times in the past. Since Monkey Man is good at math, I like to buy him things that are fun, but still involve the math, so he doesn’t get bored. Cause that is really the challenge in school isn’t it? Keeping the kids liking the subjects, or encouraging them to want to learn things they may not care for?
I have two children that love math, and one that does well with it, but isn’t a huge fan of it. I’m always trying to find ways to incorporate it in everyday learning, as well as making it fun. Critical Thinking really helps make that possible.
This time we got to try Critical Thinking Balance Math Teaches Algebra. Which Monkey Man thought was really cool. He loved that it wasn’t in his words “As much like the Algebra in his normal text books”.
