In my life this week…

We have been battling colds, and stomach bugs..

Once we were better, we enjoyed a class…

Then we left for a mini vacation, and enjoyed some family time!

In our homeschool this week…

We finished up our last week of this 8wk block….

We had a tanglewood class through 4H- the kids learned about Winter Explorations (how animals eat, and stay warm in the winter) all while Snow Shoeing! They LOVED it!  

Helpful homeschooling tips or advice to share…

Slow down, if they are getting to frustrated with something. Monkey Man did much better this block when we took the Math down to 3 days a week, instead of everyday. He just needed the breather.

I am inspired by…

Many of my friends that have Homeschooled for so long. They remind me its ok to struggle, have off days, and think you are failing. Its all part of the process!

Places we’re going and people we’re seeing…

This upcoming week we are off from school, but we have plenty of things going on..

4H, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and its Little Monkey’s Birthday!

My favorite thing this week was…

Watching my kids faces when they saw how good they are at something!

What’s working/not working for us…

Having some extra classes on the side, for a fun twist.

Questions/thoughts I have…

Anyone out there have History Odyssey 2 they want to sell? I’m looking for it!  

Things I’m working on…

Cleaning that schoolroom. I will finish it while we are on vacation the next couple weeks!

I’m reading…

Nothing at the moment… Finished the last book in the Cedar Cove Series! It was so good, but I hate when a series ends!

I’m cooking…

A roast chicken, oven potatoes, and a veggie!
