TOS Crew: Logic of English Review

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/2013TOSCrew/Logic%20of%20English/LOE_logo_wide_inv_3d_70_zpsc2eceeb2.png

You know truth be told, I don’t write proper cursive. I have never really. I remember learning it in middle school, but it just didn’t stay with me.

So recently when I got the chance to review, Rhythm of Handwriting, by Logic of English I decided it was a good time to teach my youngest. With my oldest, I never really spent a great deal of time on learning cursive. I figured it wasn’t really widely used anymore, does he really need to learn it?! (Yes, bad parent that I am)

Truly though, how many of you still use cursive writing?

Me, I only use it when I am signing a document, and even then it is half cursive, half printing.

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/2013TOSCrew/Logic%20of%20English/RhythmOfHandwritingCursive_400_zpsc9971869.jpg

What was included in my review:

  • Logic of English Cursive Workbook
  • Laminated Tri-fold Cursive Chart

About Rhythm of Handwriting:

Out of the 174 page book the first 10 pages of the book are like a “teacher’s guide”. Gives you steps to teaching handwriting, then handwriting tips, suggested schedules, and ideas for practice.

I have to tell you, I never really thought about this before but the book suggests to teach your child cursive first. It lists 6 reasons, but the first one being “It is less fine-motor skill intensive”. That certainly makes sense to me! Another thing that I did backwards with my oldest, was teaching him the capital letters first. They suggest learning with the lowercase.

The suggested schedule depends on the age. My Monkey was over 6, so the recommendation is to do 2 letters per day, or 4 letters per day, starting with the lowercase. We chose not to overwhelm her, and start with 2 letters per day.

100_7766

100_7767

If your child is younger than six, they suggest only doing one letter per day, but going a bit more in depth with the lesson. Such as sounds, and how to write it, and practicing letters previously learned.

While we didn’t do the 6 and younger suggestion, I did do the practicing of previously learned letters, to help her remember them.

How we used it:

This was put into Little Monkey’s daily school lessons, and she had to complete two letters per day, plus practice the previous days letters in a notebook. We only did this 4 days a week, because we take Friday’s off. She really did well with this, and only got frustrated a few times. I think it was easier for her to learn this, than with her printing. Many of those letters she would always get backwards.

With each letter you write, they give you a small, medium, large and extra large space to practice. At first I let her choose the line she wanted to use, and then I challenged her to use the next line down to see if she could do better.

She really seemed to excel with this. We also used a few of their handwriting practice ideas. She really enjoyed Blind writing, and sandpaper letters.

100_7768

100_7769

The laminated tri-fold chart came in very handy too. If she was struggling with a letter she was practicing, she could refer to the chart to tell her how to do it. It gave very good instructions on how to start the letter and follow through.

My thoughts:

While this program does not stand out above others with looks. It is a pretty general run of the mill book. No pictures, cartoons, or extras, it really drills the point home.

I was especially happy when Little Monkey didn’t make it an ordeal each day we had to do it. It keeps her interest, and she really enjoys it.

She is anxious to finish it now!

Price:

The Rhythm of Handwriting Cursive Workbook is $15 for the printed or PDF book.

The Cursive Handwriting Quick Reference chart is $10.

TOS Crew Review: Time4Learning

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/Time%204%20Learning/Time4learninglogo_zps8130c27e.jpg

I’m not a huge believer in using a lot of computer programs for school. Mostly because I don’t think that all my children’s learning should be done by a machine, or that they need that much screen time. However, sometimes we do need to have a bit of extra help, or that extra push they need to learn more.

So, when I was offered a chance to review Time4Learning, I decided to give it a whirl. We have looked at it a few times before. When my son did attend public school in Florida, they used this program in his classroom. This time around we reviewed the 3rd grade homeschool curriculum from Time4Learning.

About Time4Learning:

This program is a technology based online program. They primarily do preschool and go to 8th grade, but have added in a few high school classes. They combine their animated lessons, with activities, and worksheets. You can use it for either a full curriculum, afterschool help, homeschooling, summer school, or just a supplement curriculum.

They cover the subjects of Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. If your child excels in one area, but not in another, you can move their grade level up in that subject.

To use this program, you need to be able to access the internet. It will work with either a Mac or PC. It is very easy to setup. Once you fill out the information page, and setup payment you are good to go.

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/Time%204%20Learning/time4learning1_zps32c9d4c1.jpg

As a parent you have access to a parent page which offers:

  • Detailed reporting for your record keeping
  • Extensive lesson planning
  • Teaching tools
  • Spelling words
  • Supply lists
  • Reading lists
  • and More!

Another great tool is the Odyssey Writer. I really think this is a great addition. I am not the best grammar teacher in the world, so this helps with getting them to work on writing. You can have a writing assignment set for whatever the subject they are working on. Inside the writer, it gives them all the major steps for writing. At the end they are graded by a Rubric, and shows them what they missed or need to work on.

There is also a playground area for them. Where they play games while also learning. I have Little Monkey’s time limit set to only 10mins a day for that part. However, it is enough for her to get some playing in!

Little Monkey’s Thoughts:

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/Time%204%20Learning/Time4learninggrade3_zpsd8da7ce0.jpg

She really has enjoyed using this program. She loves to get on everyday and work on more of her subjects. She will usually get on for about an hour, and work on whatever she can get done in that time.

Everyday she begs to get on and do her work on this program. I never have to fight her to do it. “Its super fun”, she says!

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/Time%204%20Learning/time4learning2_zps231ad6e5.jpg

My Thoughts:

Like I stated before I am not a huge screen time advocator, so this was hard for me to get used to. However, she has picked up a lot in the math, and language arts part of the program. It is really a great boost to her work she is already doing. I like that it is pretty self explanatory, so she doesn’t need me to sit and help her along they way. I can put her on there, and walk away to get my things done.

I LOVE the parent part of the program where I can print off lesson plans. Get any extra words, reading lists, or things she needs. I print of the extra worksheets ahead of time, so she has them ready to go.

Another great feature is that  you can go in and set a schedule for your child. If you want to use it for a whole year, you choose that and what subjects you want them to work on. If you want to only use it for a half year, you pick the time frame, and choose the subjects you want. Either way, in the end it calculates how many classes you need to have your student work on for the week. I did this for my daughter, and then I printed out her schedule. Every week I print a progress report (more on that in a moment) and check to make sure she is on task with her assignments. This also gives her a bit more flexibility for her to choose how much she wants to work on in one day. She could do all once subject one day, and another the next, or she can just evenly space out the assignments for all.

Back to progress reports. . . These are a great asset I think. I love to print hers out each week, and see how she is doing. If her test scores, are really low, I can have her go back and redo the lesson (to reinforce the learning, and try again). They also tell me what has been completed. This is also a great thing for homeschoolers, since we can print them out and add them to our portfolio's.

Overall, I really do like this program. It is setup well, and works good for what we need right now. I would recommend it to anyone looking for that extra help they need, or if you just want something to help with what you are already teaching.

Price:

The cost starts at $19.95/student per month. For each additional child it is $14.95/month. For the PreK- 8th. There is no contract, so you can cancel at anytime.

Or the New High School Student $30/per month for 4 courses.

The Berenstain Bears: Golden Edition Review

I don’t know about you, but finding good shows on TV for my kids is difficult these days. Cartoons are just not what they used to be when I was a child. (Yes, I know many moons ago that was)

Recently my monkeys and I got the chance to review The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition, as well as The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition in celebration of their 50th Anniversary!

My monkeys are a bit older now, but my youngest little monkey still loves her Berenstain Bears. So this was really more for her. Upon receiving them in the mail, she was so excited to open up the box! Containing her excitement was hard!

http://media-cache-ak1.pinimg.com/originals/1c/fb/f5/1cfbf55d4019c89fb641ad9273659ceb.jpg

The Berenstain Bears: Golden Brother Edition comes in a cute box, with the movie and a small brother bear 10 inch plush. The DVD contains the story about Brother Bear and the many sports that he enjoys while being a role model. All taking place in bear country. The movie runs approximately 120 min.

Episodes in this DVD:

  • Catch the Bus
  • Jump Rope Contest
  • The Hiccup Cure
  • Moving Day
  • Double Dare
  • Lend A Helping Hand
  • The Big Election

The Berenstain Bears: Golden Sister Edition was no different! This one came in a nice gift box as well with the DVD, and a cute little Sister Bear 10 inch plush.  Sister bear is a cute spunky character. This movie also runs approximately 120 min.

Episodes on this Dvd:

  • Go up and Down
  • Count Their Blessings
  • Slumber Party
  • Homework Hassle
  • The In Crowd
  • Trouble at School
  • The Female Fullback
  • That Stump Must Go
  • Big Bear, Small Bear
  • Hug and Make Up
  • House of Mirrors

Little Monkeys Thoughts:

She absolutely loved these DVD’s. Her favorite two episodes were “The Hiccup Cure” cause she always has trouble with the hiccups. As well as “Slumber Party” since she is dreaming of a big slumber party with her friends when our house construction is finally done. Little Monkey really loves the music, and stories that the Berenstain Bears bring to our house.

I love that they teach such great values and lessons. Yet, my kids don’t see it as a lesson. They just think they are watching a fun show! I’m so happy that some of the great shows from my time have made their way back. I also loved that these two movies gave me and my Little Monkey a chance to have a nice movie evening to ourselves, while the other monkey’s were gone. Those moments came very far and few between.

Buy it:

You can purchase these special edition DVD’s at Walmart and Sam’s Club stores in the U.S. They are $19.99 a piece.

We hope that you enjoy them as much as we did!

TOS Crew: Spanish for you Review

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/Spanish%20for%20You/spanishforyoulog_zpsa3fadef7.jpg

Foreign language is never easy to teach, unless you have taken multiple years of it yourself right? I took a year of French, and a year of Spanish in high school. To this day, I only remember one phrase in French, and so much more of my Spanish. So, when the decision came to teach my kids Spanish. . . I really wasn’t sure where to start! Lucky for us, we have had the opportunity to check out a few products. The most current review is Spanish For You! more specifically their Fiestas curriculum.

Debbie Annett is the author of Spanish For You. Debbie has a lot of experience in teaching Spanish, and is a state certified teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish! Seeing the need for an economical, and easy to use curriculum is why she wrote this.

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/Spanish%20for%20You/spanishforyou-fiestas_zpsa80f3c2a.jpg

About the product:

It’s a full year curriculum, that is theme based around specific themes. Fiestas is about celebrations, and is focused on 3rd-8th grade. They are currently working on more themes.

I was given the Spanish For You! Fiestas book which is 45 pgs. Along with the lesson guides for 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, and 7th-8th to use. We chose to use 5th-6th, since we have already had some lessons.

Check out this sample of Spanish For You! Fiestas.

How we used it:

Upon receiving the download I decided to print out all the lesson plans, and the book. I put the book in a 3-ring binder for my two monkey’s to share. Then I printed off two of every worksheet for them.

After that, we decided that we were going to do Spanish 3 days a week. Since Monday is our busy day, we didn’t want to add more to that day, and Friday we like to keep open for field trips, and fun learning. That works well with her recommendations though, she suggested using it 3-4 days per week.

Each day is broken down into tasks. . .

  • Playing a game with flashcards
  • Reading
  • Listening to the lesson audio
  • Completing a worksheet

You only do 2-3 worksheets each week of lesson plans.

What the Monkey’s thought:

Monkey Man, and Little Monkey really enjoyed this curriculum. Having already know a little bit of Spanish before we started made a few things easier, but sometimes it seems like it could have been organized a bit better. They also thought that the self checking worksheets but be done a bit differently, cause it is to easy to look and see what the answer is.

The kids really had fun with the birthday section, cause their has been lots of birthdays in our world over the last month. They loved going up to the kids and saying happy birthday in Spanish. It was cute to watch!

I hope that they continue to enjoy it. We plan to finish up the 5th-6th, and move on to the 7th-8th level.

What is included and Cost:

For $34.95 for each specific grade level, or you can get all 3 grade levels for $64.95

What you get included for both. . .

  • Soft Cover Book or E-book
  • Lesson Guides for the grade you need (PDF Download)
  • Self-Checking Worksheets (PDF Download)
  • Audio Files of entire book (MP3 Download)
  • Flashcard/ Activity pictures (PDF Download)

So as you can see it is very reasonably priced.

TOS Crew Review: Adventus MusIQ Reveiw

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/AdventusLogo_zps301dbe63.gif

First off I have to say I was SO SO Excited when we got the chance to review MusIQ HomeSchool by Adventus.  I was never musically inclined, so I wanted my children to have the chance to try different things. My Monkeys believe it or not are very musical. My middle monkey loves to sing, and if given proper lessons (voice lessons are hard to come by around here) then she would do amazing I believe. My youngest also likes to sing, but is also very good with the piano. My son has just amazed everyone. . . he doesn’t strike you as the piano player but does so good. My oldest and youngest have been taking piano lessons for a year now. They have been doing really well, but due to the cost, I can’t do lessons as often as I would like.

That is were MusIQ Homeschool comes in. Now they can practice more at home, and still do piano lessons.

About MusIQ Homeschool:
I’m sure your thinking what does MusIQ Homeschool have to offer. Well, it’s a seven-year curriculum that includes more than twenty lessons. Ranging from beginner to advanced intermediate. The program is broken down into. . .

You can use MusIQ Homeschool a couple of different ways. You can get the monthly prescription that is $10.95. Or you can purchase the CD-Rom or Download. If you purchase it, the nice thing is you can use it for multiple children in your home. Which is a big plus for anyone with more than one child!

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/musiqhomeschool-software_zps4cb3ceea.jpg

What you will find in Children’s Music Journey:
In 3 volumes of Children’s Music Journey you will find 95 interactive lessons. Each lesson is taught by one of the following composers, Beethoven, Bach, Joplin, Mendelssohn, Villa—Lobo's, Satie, Dvorak, Mozart, Beach, Tchaikovsky, Handel, Chopin, Scarlatti, Haydn, Bartok, Chaminade, Debussy, and Schumann.  Then they get 95 practice sessions, 150 Learn  to play songs and famous pieces, 30 games to help reinforce theory, Composing and Improvising.

How we used this program:
My monkeys used this program twice a week. . . it suggests 1 lesson a week, but mine are way to eager! My two monkeys are 8, 10. Here is how a weekly lesson goes:
  • 25 Minutes (approx.)
  • History Time/Rhythm 10-15 min
  • Improvisation 5-7 min
  • Closing 2-5 min

What we thought:
I used this on both my Monkey’s, even though Monkey Man is almost 11. I wanted to make sure we were starting at the right place. So he has just been going a bit faster than little monkey.
Little Monkey loved this program and really wants to use it all the time. Which has helped our “normal” piano lessons a lot! I’m very happy about this!
Monkey Man, has enjoyed doing this as well. He already loves piano lessons, but this has helped him to practice, and get better in areas he wasn’t over confident in. He will go through Children’s Music Journey quite quickly, but we will move him on to Premiere Suite as soon as he finishes.
My kids fight over who is going to start every time we do this curriculum. They both want to go “first”!
I have always wanted a crack at playing the piano, so I decided to give it a try! I was very happy with how easy it was to use, and that I truly enjoyed it. I can see why my kids are having so much fun with it.
This is absolutely one of our most favorite reviews so far this year! We will certainly be using it for years to come!!!

TOS Crew: TouchMath Review

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/2013TOSCrew/Touch%20Math/touchlogo_zps5760f524.jpg

You know, I never realized how hard it would be to find the perfect math for my child. Better yet, how differently each one of my kids would learn it. I have been struggling with Little Monkey this year. When we got offered the chance to review TouchMath , I jumped on it.

Little Monkey is currently using TouchMath’s 2nd Grade Math. We have been using it for a little over a month, and enjoy it. Here are the reasons why Little Monkey was struggling before hand. She unlike most children I have ever seen, refuses to use her hands when trying to count. Not that I encourage this, but when starting out I feel this helps a little. Needless to say we were getting frustrated trying to get our number facts down.

What is TouchMath:
TouchMath was developed over 30 years ago. It is a multisensory math program. Children learn the number and the touch point. This really helps children with auditory, visual, and tactile based learning. This video shows you how the counting processes is taught.

You can even get a DVD training video that will walk you through step by step to help teach. You can find that here.

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/2013TOSCrew/Touch%20Math/2nd_zps507a9062.jpg

Now, I’m sure your wondering what comes with this program. For each unit download you receive all of what is listed above. They break each year into 4 units, which are then broken down into modules. Here are the units in the second grade program.

  • Adding and Subtracting Within 50
  • Adding and Subtracting Within 100
  • Adding and Subtracting Within 1,000
  • Time, Money, Measurement, Data, and Geometry

http://i1202.photobucket.com/albums/bb374/TOSCrew2011/2013TOSCrew/Touch%20Math/16713_10151610009699867_292008485_n_zps44f65cf4.jpg

How we used it:
First off Little Monkey was so excited when the box arrived with our manipulatives. As I was opening the box, she was right over my shoulder looking to see what was in there. We received the FlipCards, and the Touch Numerals. There was no holding her off, so we opened up the Touch Numerals right away. I explained to her how they work, showed the touch points for each number, and how you count. She went right to work, trying to remember them.
The next day, we started in on the program. She completed half of the first module in the first day. She didn’t want to stop! I was stunned, I didn’t have to fight her at all.
The program suggests using it everyday. The amount of time each day depends on your child. They say to spend 2-2 1/2 times your child’s age. So for Little Monkey it would be around 16-20 minutes per day.
So, we spent around 20 minutes 4 days a week on this program. (We take Fridays off for fun school) This worked perfectly for us, because Little Monkey has a better attention span than most. She really would have spent more time on this if I let her. On days that she wanted to spend more time on it, we would spend time with the Touch Numerals, and FlipCards.

What I liked about it:
I’m not good at math by any stretch of the imagination! Of course, that doesn’t mean that I can’t do simple addition. As they go up though, I become worse and worse of a helper.
I really like that the program is laid out nicely for you. Here is what you will find in each module:
  • Listing of all activity sheet topics and module contents
  • Overview with vocabulary and resources
  • Page-by-page instructions with answer keys
  • Content review with posttest instructions
  • Module closure instructions
  • Progress monitoring record

So I would print each lesson out at the beginning of the week, and go over it. I would get any resources, or things that we needed to help with our lesson before we started. I liked to look it over before presenting it to her. Then I was ready on the day of the lesson. I had all the things I needed in front of me. The work is pretty much all done for you, which I love. With my busy life, that makes it easier for me. I also loved the progress record, so I could see where she struggled. I have all of this in a binder for her, and then in my teachers binder I have the progress record, and answer sheets.

Prices:
2nd Grade Downloads – $59.95 per unit
Buy all 4 units at once – $199.95
Flip Cards – $19.00 per box
Touch Numerals – $99.00

Last thoughts:
I really think this is a great program. It is well laid out. It really helps those that are tactile learners, or even just a child that might be struggling a bit. We are only a few weeks in, so I’m not 100% sure, but I really think this is what Little Monkey needed to get over the hump. She seems to be responding well. She hasn’t complained and seems to really love this program, and always eager to do it. The cost is a bit more than we would normal pay for a program. However, I do think it is worth the money if nothing else works. Also, the cost can come down a bit, if you for go the manipulative. They are nice, and do reinforce the learning, but are not absolutely necessary. Overall I am very happy with this product!

Little Monkey’s Room…

So with spring in the air… I’m on a big organizational kick. After our renovation last year, we have been trying to get everything where it needs to be. We are still trying to get the room dry walled and painted. Only taking a year, to get this far. LOL!

There was no shortage of ideas when the kids new were were going to paint their rooms. Little Monkey decided she wanted a Lala Loopsy room. I’m no artist that I assure you! I am a stick figure, paint by number kind of mom. Ha-ha! After some deliberation we decided to make a scene on her walls, with sky, hills, tree’s, and flowers. Then we bought the Lala Loopsy people wall stickers, so we don’t have to paint them. We are not completely done yet, but we are getting there.. Here are some pictures of what we have started.

After Little Monkey’s room is done, we will start on Middle Monkey’s room. She wants a Tinkerbell room, with spring, summer, fall, and winter. She wants a winter side with Periwinkle, which is Tinkerbell’s sister from the new movie. That should be really interesting….

Monkey man is another whole story. He wants a Greek Mythology room, with columns, Greek gods, and the whole works! Have not figured out how I am going to pull that one off. It should be really interesting to say the least. I will however, be sure to keep you posted.

Then when all that is done, I have a living room, and my bedroom to figure out. Plus we are finishing off our attic, to put our school room in. I’m going to be all decorated out by fall. Ha-ha!!

What fun spring projects are you up to?

Does your child struggle with handwriting? My son had the best boy handwriting some teachers have ever seen. My girls though, that is another story! Little Monkey who is just finishing up 2nd Grade, has been struggling with some of her letters for a while now. She writes her b & d backwards all the time, and also the numbers 2,3,4, & 5! I had heard great reviews about Handwriting Without Tears, and thought why not give them a try. The name alone gives me confidence I won’t want to pull my hair out while using it. Haha!

Let me give you a bit of background about Handwriting Without Tears. It was founded by Jan Olsen, an occupational therapist. So she has first hand experience with the struggles kids have when learning to write. Why does it work so well? Well, they use multisensory tools and strategies to help it be more effective. Such as teaching strategies, word design, teaching order, letter style, line success, and research.

I have to tell you, upon receiving the 2nd Grade Printing Power workbook, Little Monkey was ready to dive in. “Mom, Mom, can I start it NOW!” was all I heard. I have never seen a child so excited to do work! The lessons are only meant to be about 15 minutes a day, so the kids don’t get frustrated our angry with them. My daughter so far, has wanted to do more than that!

How we used it:

As I stated Little Monkey was very anxious to get started on this one. We use it 4 times a week (cause we have fun days on Friday’s). Every day she does a new lesson, and usually asks to do another. Depending on our schedule, I sometimes let her go another lesson. Here are the letters when she started.

You can get extra things to help with the learning online at Handwriting Without Tears website. You can have them watch video’s on how to write certain letters, print off more worksheets, lots of things. I have had Little Monkey watch a couple video’s since she still struggles with a few letters. In another week, I’m going to give her a proficiency test, that you can get free here. To see what she needs more work on. I can already see some great improvements in some of her letters. Here are a few other sheets she has done…

My thoughts:

I was very excited to try this with Little Monkey, because when just handing her sheets of words to copy, she would get frustrated. I mean what kids wouldn’t right? I wasn’t sure how else to teach her though. This was a life saver! When I received the book and started to look it over, I was very excited to see that it was fun, and not to overwhelming. I love the little boxes they learn to make the letters in first, kind of showing them the space. Her letters were always to big or way to small, so this helps her to see how big they are suppose to be.

I also received the Handwriting Without Tears Printing Teacher’s Guide for 2nd Grade. I’m not going to lie, for handwriting this was a bit overwhelming at first to see. The book was thick! I was thinking, what could I possibly have teach her that much about? It was full of great information though. The first 20 or so pages are filled with how to use the book. It has 36 lesson plans, with corresponding activities if you want to use them. They had some great things to go along with the lessons. My daughter just wants to write, so we haven’t really been using the lesson plans to much.

Here are some of the Activities you can find in the book:

  • The Hand Activity
  • My Teacher Writes
  • Teaching with Technology
  • Air Writing
  • Letter Stories
  • Diver Letters’ school
  • Voices
  • Laser Letters

They have so many wonderful resources available. I really love a company that helps you like that. I’m very happy with the book. We also received the Kick Start Cursive book with our set. After looking through it, I’m pretty sure I will be purchasing the Cursive Curriculum for her next year. They books are very reasonably priced too.

Little Monkeys Thoughts:

She loved the book, and can’t wait to do more lessons. She finds it fun, and never complains to do them. She is very excited to start the kick start cursive. (Always head of herself)

Price:

2nd Grade Printing Power Book (42 pgs.) – $8.25

2nd Grade Printing Power Teaching Book  (190pgs) – $9.25

Printing Power Plus (with the kick start cursive 32 pgs.) – $10.25

Check out what some of the TOS Crew Members are saying about it.

I haven’t slept a whole night since she was born. But how can you get mad at a face that wakes you up just to tell you she “loves” you?! I sure can’t, even in my groggy state. Despite her lack of sleep, she never wakes up without a smile on her face.

She is the most loving little sister. Always thinking of others!

Little Monkey’s Daisy Christmas Party

So you know the only downfall to running a troop and having a daughter in both yours and another troop? That you can’t be in two places at once. My brownie troop went to the Animal Shelter to volunteer on the same day as Little Monkey’s Christmas/awards party. Therefore, daddy had to fill in for me. (which just isn’t the same, I hate missing these things)

They went around town and sang Christmas Carols to the people at the Town Office, and Post Office. Then they had some goodies, and got some awards, and badges they had been working on over the last few months.

Only bad thing? Her smock is completely full in the back, so I’m going to have to figure out another spot to put them.
