Smelly Towel Review & Giveaway

detail_image

Do your towels ever have that faint smell of mildew, or mustiness even after washing them?? Mine sometimes do, from the kids leaving them balled up in a corner, or if they get left somewhere after swimming, and such. However it gets frustrating when you take out a nice clean towel and it still has that faint smell.
What do you use to clean your towels? I have tried everything from, bleach, oxi, and scented laundry soap..nothing completely helps. I was excited to try Smelly Towels. I immediately went and got my towels and threw them in the washer! (sad I know) The smell was not completely gone, so I threw them back in and washed them one more time. (as directed on the back of the container) The second time I was so excited to say I could no longer smell anything! You can use it in any washer, just follow the directions on the bottle. You just put in a tiny cap full… and start the washer, no other detergent needed. A bottle should really go a long way…
You can buy it here… along with their Smelly Washer both going for $16.99 a bottle.

1. Do you believe, somewhere deep inside, that blondes do indeed have more fun? That they are "dumber" than brunettes or redheads? Be honest!

I’m not really sure.. I know some blondes.. and each of them are different. Sometimes I think they seem “dumber” cause that is what society has always told us.

2. Which animal would you most like to observe in its wild habitat?

I think it would be cool to observe a Giraffe or Tiger in the wild. Ok, maybe I’m more partial to that seeing any animal in the wild would be really awesome!

3. This week the

U.N. announced that Dr. Mazlan Othman has been appointed the official "Alien Ambassador," should any extraterrestrials contact us. Have you, or has anyone you know, ever seen a UFO?

I have never seen a UFO, nor anyone that I know. I think, it would be really odd if we did. Sometimes the thought crosses my mind that there is something on another planet. What do you think?

4. Name your favorite Hitchcock film.

I really have to say, I don’t think I have a favorite Hitchcock film.

5. Would you rather spend time at the library, the mall, a craft store or home?

I am strange.. I love all the above. I think the library is great, mall’s can be fun, craft stores, always cost me way to much money… and home is good some days too.

6. Which Disney princess is your favorite? (Or Disney character, if you are a guy)

My favorite Disney Princess is Mulan. For some reason I love that movie.. it is my all time favorite.

7. What kind of art is your favorite?

I love pottery…

8. How do you feel about viral videos, that is, videos made by amateurs that end up on Youtube receiving thousands of hits?

I have to admit their are many times I ask myself really they are so bored, and have nothing better to do?? REALLY??

9. Where do you buy your jeans?

Old Navy.. I LOVE old navy jeans!

10. Tell me about your first automobile accident.

I was a teenager… and was driving in Downtown Boston. A person merging lanes hit me.

11. Have you ever been honest when you knew you would benefit more if you would be dishonest?

No, I really tried to be Honest at all times.

12. If you were appointed "Ambassador to Aliens," what would you show and tell first about life on Earth? What would be the most difficult thing to explain?

I really have no idea…

FOR TODAY... Monday September 27th, 2010

Outside my window...  Not as hot as it could be, but hotter than Maine…

I am thinking...  Still got a lot to do… but getting there slowly.

I am thankful for.. The time I got to spend with my friends.. and family…

From the learning rooms….. Moving along well…

Hunter- Is loving the Science Experiments.. He is doing well in Math, still struggling a bit with English, and writing.

Rachel- Is doing very good with Math, and English.

Sage- is doing well with the numbers, and letters… She has started with Addition and doing very good with it.

They took their first Field Trip to the Common Ground Fair.

From the kitchen….Pork, potato’s and corn. Really need to start our menu’s back up again.

I am creating…. Nothing much at the moment… Trying to get thru the day without going crazy!

I am wearing.. My normal, shorts, t-shirts, and croc sandals! As opposed to the pants last week in Maine.

I am going..  to be missing my two monkey’s for the next couple weeks.

I am hearing….Silence… its so weird to only have one kid here. She is pretty quiet compared to the other two.

I am reading… Got the Eat, Love, Pray from the library while I was gone, so I will be reading that this week. Very excited. Then I can’t wait to read the new book by Nicholas Sparks!

Around the house… A bit more packing..

One of my favorite things…Little traditions with my kids.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Very little this week, spending some time with friends, packing, and hanging with my little monkey.

Here is a picture for thought I am sharing…

DiamondEarrings.org Review and Giveaway:

Looking for a nice present for your girly girl? How about some Stimulated Diamond Earrings. I know my girls would die for a pair of earrings that look like diamonds. I mean what girl wouldn’t??

Over at Diamondearrings.org you can get a pair of earrings for free, if you just pay $3.77 for shipping/handling to anywhere in the US.

Diamonds

My daughter doesn’t have her ears pierced yet, but she wants them done. So I told her I would put them aside for her to have when she was brave enough to get them done. In the meantime, I have tried them out. I found them to be very diamond like, and cute. I really thought they helped dress up a simple outfit. I didn’t have any problem with them turning my ears green, or anything like that. These cute 5mm stud - Cubic Zirconia and .925 sterling silver earrings are a great gift idea for Christmas!
