Hunter lost his first tooth tonight!!! He is growing up way to fast for me.... :( He was playing with it all afternoon, and I finally looked at it, and decided he needed to take it out before it came out in an apple, or something. It was only holding on by a tiny bit. So, I decided to tell him a story about one of my teeth when I was little. How my dad, hooked a string to my tooth and my wrist and I refused to let my wrist fall... but by the time I was done watching a movie it had fallen, and I didn't even know it... My tooth was out! So, he wanted to go try that. Him and daddy were setting up the string when daddy decided to just twist it, and see if it would come out, and sure enough! Out it popped. Dinner was an interesting time, he wasn't sure he should eat or not. Decided on just having salad. I think he is trying to get used to the gap in his teeth, but is enjoying it none the same. He is eagerly awaiting the tooth fairy now!! We'll let you know what she leaves. :)

Sportsmen Ship
The Mud Dogs season is in full swing. Tonight we had a game in solon against a madison team. Unfortunetly, their team didn't not have enough players show to play a game. So, our team showed awesome sportsmen ship and some went over to their team to play, so the game could go on. Everyone on our team asked to play on theirs. In the end Hunter, Cade C, and Nathan, were chosen to go play for them. Therefore, in this game everyone got to play on both teams the whole game, cause we had just enough players for both teams. Pretty amazing I must say! Hunter did so good this game as well. He hit everytime he was up to bat! I mean really hit, not just bunt like he usually does. It was so amazing to watch his face, each time he hit that ball. He loves the new bat I got him a few weeks ago, now there is not a game we don't use it! I must say, I was a bit confused which team I was suppose to be routing for though... The Mud Dogs, or Bobs Cash Fuel, as Hunter was playing for them! :) The madison team plus a few of our players in the end won. It was a great game. They all did a fantastic job tonight. I can really see the improvement in all the players as they play each game. It is just awesome to watch. I love it! I'm so proud of this team to step up like that and play, so they could just play the game. Wonderful Job Mud Dogs!!!

Surgery
My day started at 5:30am.... Hunter and I got up and got ready to head out the door. We were off to Waterville to the Thayer Hospital........ As many of you know Hunter has problems with his ears. Today we had to go have the tubes removed from his ears. The tube in the right ear, was being rejected... and it decided to go back into the ear, instead of going out of his ear, like it should be. His doctor said this was the frist case of this he had seen in 15 yrs. Of course leave it to my son!!! We decided to remove the left one at the same time, just to be on the safe side. We arrived at the hospital at alittle after 7am... as I like to be early. (or atleast try to be most days) They called us in to get him preped for surgery... He got in his Johnny, and climbed up on the bed. The nurse came in to take his vitals, brought him the usual coloring book, and stickers. Hunter says.... Can I please have my doll now? She looked alittle confused, so I had to tell her he meant the dolls they give them after surgery.. Hunter is an old pro at this, so he wanted to see which one he was getting this time. We already have birdie, leafy, and this one he named red boy! Although, at frist it was rhino pottamous... :) (gotta love his imagination) Then we sat there and chatted for a few minutes. Hunter looked at me square in the eyes and said. "Mom I think that i am the bravest boy in the whole world... I don't need you to come in with me today" I almost started to cry... What he meant for any of you that don't know... is that a parent is allowed to go in the operating room with them, while they are put to sleep. He didn't need me to go in this time. It put my mind to ease that i had truely started to raise a remarkable boy, who is indeed a big brave boy.. (even with his emotional moments) I was so proud of him at that very moment. He was really good except he started to get cranky cause they took very long about getting us in for some reason. They finally took him in for surgery at 9:45, two hours later, mind you he still hadn't eaten breakfast so he was dying to eat! Surgery only takes 10 mins... He was back with me at 10:30 after being in recovery for about a half hour. He came back with a big smile, and an orange popsicle. Happy to be able to eat something. Then he got dressed and we headed home. I would like to say we won't have to go back to do this again, but I'm afraid that this will probably not be likely, as he is so prone to ear infections. But I am hoping for the best this time. So, please keep him in your prayers, as I hate to see my little man in so much pain.

My Birthday...
So today is my birthday! Yup, I turn a big 29 yrs old. Can you believe that?? I'm still trying to figure out where the time went. As a kid, heck up until about my 25 th birthday I used to count down the days to my birthday every year.. Not anymore this year, I was trying to figure out how to make the days go backwards, so I could lose years! :) Lol... My birthday was full of surprises, and not all good. Hunter had a baseball game in Madison... which we won! Our first win of the season I believe. It was a nice game, and rather quick. After the game, we came home and I let the kids have Ice Cream to celebrate my birthday, as I did not have any time to make a cake. That is what they always look forward too! Imagine that! :) So, to all my friends that wished me a Happy Birthday, thank you!

A Great Accomplishment!
After 2 and half years Andrew has finally graduated today! That is right, he graduated from KVCC this morning. It has been a long haul for all of the family. He has done an amazing job, and worked so hard to do well. During his time there he also tutored for a few people in Math. While doing this he found that he may like to be a teacher, but we aren't sure we can commit to that much more school. However, I am excited that he is finding more things that he is excited to be doing. Two years of lots of late night classes, and long waits, but we did it. I'm very proud of him, as he was nervous about going back to start with. Hunter attended the graduation with me, and he was very excited to see daddy going on stage. I'm not sure he fully understood what was going on, but he was seeing that daddy was doing something during those 2 and half years of his life that he wasn't always here for things. Congratulations Andy! We love you!
This is Travis & Andy... Travis is one of the good friends Andy made while at college. :)

Mud Dogs First Game of the Season!
The opening game for the season, started with a game against Madison.... It was a home game played on the Embden Field. Hunter was so excited for this game to start. Before he got out on the field though, he had to pick a shirt with a number. Hunter decided to go with 4..... So for this season and probably next he will be number 4!
As you can see here he thought it was amazing that he made it to that point! :) He was looking at me to see if I was paying attention to him in his big moment...
Good Job TEAM!!! What better way to celebrate than to have a good old popicle! Ummm.... this is good!
As you can see from the above photo Hunter got to play variest postions throughout the game. He started with the outfield. Then he played the third base postion.... I think he enjoyed that one, although alittle more challenging cause he had to really pay attention... And we all know that Hunter likes to stare off into space! :)
Hunter was getting really faustrated with batting, cause he couldn't seem to hit a ball all night. This is his first year of Coach pitch baseball... last year he was on a tee-ball team. So, its a bit different than what he is use too.
However dispite the frowning looks as he strike out variest times, he finally got a hit on the last time up to bat.. He bunted the ball just enough to be able to make it all the way around the bases. The look on his face when he made it to that first base was so proud! :)
As you can see here he thought it was amazing that he made it to that point! :) He was looking at me to see if I was paying attention to him in his big moment...
Plus he had a big cheering section going on right there!
Although, we didn't win this game all the kids did really good for being there first game, and some of them their first time playing at all. They certainly did an awesome job!
Good Job TEAM!!! What better way to celebrate than to have a good old popicle! Ummm.... this is good!

Happy Mother's Day
Well, here we are already in the 11th day of the month... and its Mother's Day. It makes me think about how special we all are. I have the most beautiful kids in the world. They are so special and unique in their on way. Hunter came home friday with a huge smile on his face, was just priceless. He was carrying a flower, that was for me. He was so proud. Rachel came home on thrusday with a drawing she painted for me, with a cute saying on it. That made us all laugh so hard. She was very proud of herself too. Its wonderful to watch their faces, when they give you those heartfelt gifts. :) Sage isn't in school, so she just gave me a big hug, and told me she loved me. Which was just as precious as always. It was a nice day.... Not only was it Mother's day, it was Andrew's birthday as well. Every few years it falls that way. Due to the fact I was helping my dad today, Andy had to make his own birthday cake. :( On Friday, the kids and I had gone to the store and picked out his present. They were so good about not telling him what we got either. (which I was really surprised about) The faces were beaming! It was so cute, watching them anixously waiting for him to open it. I think all and all, it was a good day. I was very happy with it. Good Day for all! :)
